LOCATION:
Arranmore Farm & Polo Club, 34 Rance Road, Oswego, IL
DISTANCE: 100 miles in a figure 8 route that will take you back and forth to Arranmore Farm with each completion of the circuit. This is not a race! The goal is to enjoy the day as a community and encourage/support other riders to complete their century ride. We ask all participants to plan on making a full day out of this experience.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY: Each rider is responsible for providing a bike and helmet. If you want to rent a bike and helmet from one of our local bike shops, be sure to check that box on the registration form. Family or friends are welcome to stop by and encourage you during the day.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY: We want the day to be fun and worry free for you. We’ll provide food, drinks, and volunteer support along the route.
REQUIREMENTS: Every rider is asked to rasie a minimum of $1,000. You can choose (in the “sign up now” section) to raise funds for a group of pre-determined local charities, with support going to either Mental Health Services or Community Services.
IMPACT: Every rider is asked to fundraise towards a minimum goal of $1,000 that will go to local charities. We’ll create a fundraising page for you and help you figure out ways to ask your friends, neighbors, and colleagues to support you so that you can reach this goal! You can choose (in the “sign up now” section) which group of pre-determined local charities you want to support.
